The History of our Church
In 1972, the Mt. Eden Seventh-day Adventist Church moved to a larger building at 1275 Grand Concourse due to growing membership, becoming the Grand Concourse SDA Temple. Guided by Pastor O.U. Holness and other leaders, the church flourished spiritually and numerically under a series of dedicated pastors. Over the years, it launched new congregations, improved its facilities, expanded community outreach, and welcomed the first female pastor in the Greater New York Conference. In 2012, the church celebrated its 40th anniversary, giving thanks for God’s continued guidance and looking forward with unity and hope.
